Once you enable X-Ray Mode, you start to see all faces in 3D models as

semi-transparent surfaces. As they become transparent, you will select

those elements using tools like the B Key (Figure 3.2).

Enabling X-Ray mode gives you the freedom to remain in a shading

mode like Solid and still select and interact with elements of your model

that are behind faces.

3.1.1 Shading modes

If you don't want to use X-Ray to visualize elements occluded by your

3D model's surfaces, you can also swap between shading modes to
